Two years ago Vector Group Principals, Bob Carleton and Gary Craig, initiated a “think tank” concerning performance improvement at the enterprise level. They invited other contemporaries who share similar systemic views of organizations and human performance. The group meets every six months to share current thinking on systems, organizational assessment, culture, leadership and strategy implementation. The last four-day meeting concluded on September 20, 2015. Plans include publishing articles in the business press based on the outcomes of their ongoing discussions. The think tank members call themselves the “Whak-a-Mole” group until they decide on a more official name.
